1971 Buick Centurion - $19,900 - Boise, ID - Take a look at this GORGEOUS - VERY RARE - LOW ORIGINAL MILEAGE - MOSTLY ORIGINAL SURVIVOR - TWO OWNER - 1971 Buick Centurion Convertible !! It is VERY RARE indeed as they only made 2,162 Centurion convertibles in 1971, WOW !! You can now own a VERY NICE Centurion Convertible that is VERY HARD to find !! We just purchased this Centurion from the retired previous Boise, Idaho owner who has owned it since 1989 when he bought it from the ORIGINAL Boise, Idaho owner and as you can clearly see in the 100 pictures and lengthy video this was his pride and joy for sure !! It only has 81,875 ACTUAL - ORIGINAL miles and yes we do have an odometer statement. The original owner bought it BRAND NEW at Anderson Buick in Boise, Idaho on March 5, 1971 as seen on the Factory Original 1971 Buick new vehicle warranty booklet. This BEAUTY still retains what appears to be it's VERY STRONG !! - FACTORY ORIGINAL - Code "L74" - 455 CID - "Wildcat" - V8 motor in it and running extremely well indeed. It also still retains it's ORIGINAL 4 barrel intake manifold, ORIGINAL exhaust manifolds, ORIGINAL valve covers, ORIGINAL "455" scripted air cleaner housing and it's ORIGINAL Rochester Quadrajet 4 barrel carburetor with electric choke, Etc.... . Sounds GREAT too with the "THROATY" Magnaflow exhaust system with chrome tip. The engine is backed by a SMOOTH - OPTIONAL - Code "M40" - "TH-400" - Turbo Hydra-Matic 3 speed automatic transmission which also functions very well. The BEAUTIFUL !! ALL FACTORY ORIGINAL !! - Code "465" - Pearl White Vinyl with Faux Wood Grain accents, Centurion interior is in VERY NICE condition with a VERY NICE ORIGINAL Pearl White Vinyl front seat with folding center armrest and factory headrests, VERY NICE ORIGINAL Matching Pearl White Vinyl door panels, VERY NICE ORIGINAL Black carpeting, VERY NICE ORIGINAL Pearl White Vinyl rear seat, VERY NICE ORIGINAL Optional Deluxe Buick steering wheel, VERY NICE ORIGINAL Black Vinyl sun visors, VERY NICE factory gauge clusters, VERY NICE ORIGINAL Optional Buick rubber floor mats, VERY NICE ORIGINAL Black vinyl and faux wood grain accented dash and a VERY NICE ORIGINAL Black Vinyl dash pad with NO CRACKS !! All of the ORIGINAL black rubber weatherstripping is still soft, supple and is in GREAT condition for being original. All of the ORIGINAL light lenses and reflectors are clear, bright, UNCRACKED and BEAUTIFUL !! The EYE POPPING BEAUTIFUL !! - Code "55" - Cornet Gold Metallic exterior paint is VERY NICE with really very little to no wear showing and is still bright and shiny and looks STUNNING as you can clearly see in the video and 50 ADDITIONAL PICTURES. The GORGEOUS ALL FACTORY ORIGINAL Pearl White Vinyl interior and the contrasting Cornet Gold Metallic exterior with the VERY NICE NEARLY NEW White vinyl power convertible top is a GREAT color combination indeed, how could you get any better ?!! The BEAUTIFUL - NEARLY NEW White vinyl power convertible top is in VERY NICE condition, works well and has the correct glass rear window instead of a cheaper incorrect vinyl rear window !! This Centurion is a great runner and a real nice looker. In true Buick fashion this Centurion is nicely equipped including a WORKING FACTORY AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM that has just been professionally serviced, factory power steering, factory power brakes with discs up front, factory tilt steering column, factory gauge clusters with a 120 mph speedometer, factory illuminated entry system, good glass, factory power convertible top that works well, original chrome driver's side view remote exterior mirror, original day / night rear view mirror, good heater and defroster, factory front and rear seat belts, factory front cornering lamps, factory back up lights, AWESOME JVC digital AM / FM / CD player stereo radio, factory power wipers and the ORIGINAL clock which still works !! This Buick Drop Top has GORGEOUS looks and UNBELIEVABLE power ! There are not many of these left on the roads for sure !
These vehicles have an appreciative group of owners any of which would be pleased to own this one. The suspension and drive line seem to be in good working order as well as the electrical system. Check out the BEAUTIFUL period correct chrome "Baby Moon" wheels wrapped in NEARLY NEW Broadway Classic wide whitewall steel belted radial tires, boy do they look outstanding on this Buick and really retain that CLEAN - CUSTOM - look !! The BEAUTIFUL - FACTORY ORIGINAL Stainless Centurion wheel covers and ORIGINAL steel wheels are also included and are shown in photos. The CLEAN - SOLID - Trunk sports the ORIGINAL black cloth liner, the ORIGINAL full size bias ply spare tire and the ORIGINAL jack and lug wrench. This vintage luxury car is a good investment opportunity and it is priced right ! This vehicle is in very good condition from top to bottom and from front to back. It will not disappoint someone looking for a good example of a sought after and hard to find luxury convertible collector car which is not seen at every stop light for sure. If you have been looking but cannot find a Classic "Drop Top" Centurion worthy of your hard earned money look NO further because this is the one ! All of the ORIGINAL chrome and stainless steel exterior body trim and moldings are in VERY NICE condition including VERY NICE ORIGINAL Chrome front and rear bumpers, VERY NICE ORIGINAL badging, VERY NICE ORIGINAL Chrome front bumper guards and VERY NICE ORIGINAL Grill and chrome headlight surrounds. This vehicle is in nice mechanical condition and it runs and drives VERY WELL !! It is solid with respect to the overall mechanical condition as well as the overall cosmetic impression. I looked underneath and also included photos below, again this car has lived in DRY Idaho for it's whole life and it shows!! In my opinion you can't find much nicer ORIGINAL FLOORS than the ones on this BEAUTY !!
